Alexander Shapiro is Co-Chair of the firm’s Corporate department and Co-Chair of the firm's Structured Finance Workouts and Litigation Group. His practice focuses primarily on the representation of hedge funds, insurance companies and other institutional investors in connection with workouts and disputes involving structured finance transactions, including RMBS, CMBS, CLOs and student loans. He has also represented numerous clients in a variety of industries in connection with registered equity and debt offerings, tender offers, going private transactions, Rule 144A offerings, private placements of debt and equity securities, acquisitions involving public and privately-held companies, and other complex commercial transactions.
