Antonio is a partner at Ramon y Cajal Abogados and head of its energy team. He specialises in energy matters and regularly advise on projects and operations in Spain. He has also extensive experience in advising clients on commercial law matters, including contractual negotiations and commercial disputes, as well as on unfair competition, protection of consumers and users, trade secrets and protection of the right to honour. Antonio is particularly well known for his work advising on renewable energy projects, including acquisitions, disposals, and project development and regulatory issues since 2004. He is also experienced in dispute resolution and arbitration proceedings related to his area of expertise.

He is recommended as an expert in the energy sector and the agri-food sector.

Career

Having joined the firm in 1999, since 2008 he has been the partner in charge of the firm's commercial contracts practice and head of its energy (electricity) matters practise.
