Career
Brendan Peters, a partner in the firm’s Litigation practice, represents clients in construction, real estate, and commercial litigation, as well as construction transactions. His 25 years of combined experience in legal and construction fields includes representing public and private owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers. Brendan negotiates and drafts complex construction and design contracts, litigates claims, and handles alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
Before becoming a lawyer, Brendan was an architect involved with all phases of the design and construction of complex commercial, civic, and residential projects. He is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and is a licensed architect. Brendan also is a Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) and a U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED® AP). Brendan taught construction law for more than a decade as an adjunct professor at Seattle University School of Law.
