Career
Christine worked for nine years at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in its New York, Hong Kong and Beijing offices. Christine also worked as Managing Director and Legal Head of North Asia of JPMorgan Chase, overseeing the legal function of the JPM franchise in China, Korea and Taiwan. Before joining Fangda Partners, Christine was a partner of King & Wood Mallesons, having advised on a number of complex and innovative cross-border debt and equity securities offerings.
Christine won the “Best in Capital Markets” award at the 2017 Euromoney Asia Women in Business Law Awards. Christine was also recommended by “Legal 500” in the PRC capital markets for the years 2015 and 2017.

Advised issuers and lead underwriters on Panda bond offerings by supranationals, sovereigns, financial institutions and corporations on China’s interbank bond market, including the SDR-denominated bond offering by the World Bank and RMB-denominated bond offerings by the Republic of Korea, the Province of British Columbia, the Republic of the Philippines, Hungary, Crédit Agricole S.A., United Overseas Bank, Cassa depositi e prestiti S.p.A., the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, BMW Group, Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited and Hengan International, etc.
Represented issuers or underwriters on equity and debt (senior, subordinated, guaranteed, convertible and hybrid) securities offerings in the US and non-US markets, in registered (including IPOs, shelf registrations and takedowns) and non-registered (under Rule 144A, Regulation S and Section 4(2)(a)) offerings, in particular:
