Practice Areas
A member of Gowling WLG's Advocacy Group, Daniel Boivin is a litigator in the firm’s Ottawa office. His practice focuses on health law and medical defence, including acting as counsel to the Canadian Medical Protective Association. He also provides advice in commercial litigation matters and constitutional linguistic issues.
Daniel has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Federal Court and the SCC. He also advises on a variety of health policy issues.
Daniel has lectured on evidence law and advocacy skills at various organizations, including as a part-time professor at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law.
He has also been recognized in The Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory and The Best Lawyers™ in Canada.
