Dhani is a corporate partner and head of the energy and projects practice at Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung. He has been with the firm since 2005.
Dhani has practiced for over 20 years with a particular focus on M&A transactions and project development in the energy, resources and infrastructure sectors. He is acknowledged for his experience advising clients on matters related to renewable energy, power and natural resources as well as on major infrastructure and construction projects in these sectors.
He also advises clients on employment arrangements and compliance matters.

• Consortium of INA, APG and ADIA on investment cooperation with Waskita Karya for two sections of the Trans Java Toll Road (Kanci-Pejagan and Pejagan-Pemalang) by acquiring 100% of the shares in Semesta Marga Raya and Pejagan Pemalang Tol Road (IJInvestor Transport Acquisition Award Asia Pacific 2024)
• Indonesia Investment Authority (INA) on its investment in the Bakauheni-Terbanggi Besar and Medan-Binjai toll roads in North and South Sumatera with a total enterprise value of approximately US$1.3 billion (IJInvestor Transport Acquisition Award Asia Pacific 2023)
• DP World on its investment in, development and expansion of the Belawan New International Container Terminal in Indonesia, with a project value of US$7.5 billion
• Pertamina on its sale of minority interests in the Siak and Kampar upstream oil-and-gas producing blocks in Indonesia through a competitive tender process
• Pertamina Rosneft Pengolahan dan Petrokimia on the development of the US$15 billion Tuban grass root refinery and petrochemical complex (TGRR) in Tuban, East Java
• Eramet in relation to its investments in the Indonesian nickel sector, including participation and investment in two new nickel mining assignments and licenses, through a joint venture with the Kalla Group
• Manara Minerals Investment Company (MMIC) on the US$2.5 billion indirect acquisition of Vale’s Indonesian businesses as a part of the global acquisition of Vale Base Metals business
