Erica Wolff is an experienced trial and appellate advocate with expertise in complex commercial disputes, securities litigation, and media litigation matters. She is a seasoned First Amendment lawyer, and regularly litigates defamation claims in state and federal court. She also represents individuals in government and regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings. Erica counsels clients from a variety of industries, including technology start-ups, real estate developers, financial service entities, journalists, public relations firms, and hospitality companies.

Career

Erica joined Sher Tremonte LLP in March 2015 and was elected to the partnership in January 2020. Erica previously practiced law with the firm of Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP. During law school, she worked as a judicial intern to the Honorable Richard Holwell in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and as a legal extern in the United States Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division.
