Fabiana Penadés – Country Managing Director, ClarkeModet Uruguay

With over 20 years of experience in Intellectual Property law, Fabiana Penadés has been at the helm of ClarkeModet Uruguay since its launch in 2011. She specializes in patents, trademarks, compliance, and IP strategy, leading efforts in contentious matters and portfolio management for global clients.

Her expertise in international IP protection has positioned her as a trusted advisor for multinational corporations, particularly in acquisitions, franchising, and due diligence processes. She is actively involved in prominent industry organizations, serving as Vice President of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Navigation in Uruguay, a Board Member of AUDAPI, and a Committee Member of INTA.

Fabiana is widely recognized for her contributions to the IP field, holding prestigious rankings in WTR (since 2022), Leaders League (IP Litigation 2021-2024, Trademark Prosecution 2019-2024, Patent Prosecution 2019-2024), and Legal 500 (Recommended Lawyer, 2023-2024).
