With over 20 years practicing law, Fiona Brophy has broad experience representing start up technology companies and the investors who invest in them. Over the course of her career, she has represented a wide variety of technology companies through all stages of their life cycle, from formation to ultimate exit. She has managed hundreds of venture financing transactions, ranging from seed stage to growth equity, and also has a robust mergers and acquisitions practice, both buy and sell-side. She is experienced in handling a wide variety of legal issues including advising Boards of Directors on their most important matters, handling debt and equity transactions, and advising on intellectual property and regulatory compliance issues.  While at Perkins Coie, Fiona has served as Co-Chair of the Emerging Companies & Venture Capital group, leading more than 70 attorneys and paralegals. She also served on the firm’s Compensation Committee, acting as Chairperson for many years, and is one of the founders of the firm’s Le[a]better initiative, dedicated to supporting women entrepreneurs and executives.
