Gilbert Leong is a senior partner and Head of Dentons Rodyk's Intellectual Property and Technology practice group. He is also Co-Head of the Patents, Tech, Media & Telecomms, Licensing, Data Privacy & Protection and Cybersecurity practices.

Advises on commercial, regulatory and dispute matters in the broadcast and telecommunications space. Particularly experienced in drafting/negotiating agreements relating to large-scale IT systems acquisition, software development, licensing, maintenance, acquisition of IP, IT turnkey projects, IP structuring, Internet-related transactions and XaaS matters. Advises on privacy, data breach and cybersecurity matters. Counsels on data center related matters. Possesses expertise on technology convergence issues including the interplay between technology, privacy, regulatory issues and traditional IP. Holds a certificate in Computer Programming and Information Processing. Gilbert is also a member of several technology-focused think tanks in Singapore.
