Ms. Zhou has graduated from East China University of Political Science and Law, University of Texas at Austin with LL.M. degrees.
Before she joined Jingtian & Gongcheng as a partner, Ms. Zhou had been in legal practice at a prestigious law firm and Siemens Legal Department over a decade.
Ms. Zhou’s expertise focuses on fund investment and private placement, merger and acquisition, out-bound investment, general corporate practice, compliance and risk management.
Ms. Zhou has been representing prestigious domestic and international investment institutes, leading corporations in in-bound and out-bound investment, financing and merger and acquisition transactions, including fund formation, due diligence, transaction structure design, negotiations, drafting transactional documentations, and providing legal opinions. In particular, Ms. Zhou specializes in life science, TMT and real estate industries.
Attributing to her in-house experiences at Siemens, Ms. Zhou has earned great respect from clients for her deep understanding of business needs and outstanding capability of offering solution-oriented legal services. She has assisted various corporations in designing internal anti-corruption and anti-fraud scheme, streamlining internal audit and approval policies, rendering anti-corruption and compliance training, conducting internal investigations and facilitating responses to external investigations. In addition, Ms. Zhou is experienced in assisting world’s top 500 multi-national companies (e.g., U.S., EU, and Japan) in localizing compliance policies and protocols adopted by the headquarters basing on domestic laws and business custom in China.
Ms. Zhou is licensed to practice law in China as well as in New York State of the U.S.
Ms. Zhou is fluent in Chinese and English.
