Career

Wei Ren obtained his bachelor degrees both in law and economic from Peking University.

Mr. Ren has worked in Jingtian & Gongcheng since 2003 and became a partner in 2009.

Mr. Ren specializes in securities, capital market, M & A.

In the area of securities and capital market, Mr. Ren has presented several famous companies in their overseas or domestic listing projects, including China Communications Services Corporation Ltd, China CNR Corporation Ltd, Want Want China Holdings Ltd and Xtep International Holdings Ltd. The industries involved are energy, communication, real estate, automobile, medical, etc.

In the area of M & A, Mr. Ren has represented investors from U.S., Europe and Hong Kong in many cross-border M & A transactions, providing a wide range of legal services, which include conducting due diligence, designing transaction structure, participating in negotiation, drafting various documents, proposing legal opinions, etc.

Mr. Ren obtained the PRC lawyer's qualification certificate and he is fluent in both Mandarin and English.
