Jakob Rosing

Practice Areas

Jakob specialises in a broad range of marine, transport and insurance related matters with particular focus on dispute resolution before the ordinary courts and in arbitration proceedings, including in relation to other commercial law matters. Jakob also works with arrest and enforcement proceedings. He also practices non-contentious work such as the drafting of logistic contracts.

Jakob appears regularly before the Maritime & Commercial High Court in Copenhagen and the Danish High Courts and he has right of audience before the Danish Supreme Court before which he has argued several cases.

Many of Jakob's cases involve international aspects, such as issues about conflict of laws.

Member of Comité Maritime Internationale (CMI) and Højesteretsskranken.

Publications

Author of a reference book on Danish transport law and contributor to "Multimodal Transport Including Cross-Border Road Haulage - Will the CMR Apply?" published in the European Journal of Commercial Contract Law.
