Jason has spent over 30 years specialising in the fields of Employment, Equality and Industrial Relations law and has appeared in a host of reported cases . He has particular expertise dealing with employment status, collective redundancy, TUPE, whistleblowing, and industrial relations issues and in cases before the CAC and Certification Officer. Recently he has acted for the successful parties in Chief Constable of the Police Service of Northern Ireland v Agnew (Supreme Court), Bridges v Yodel Delivery Network Ltd (CJEU), Uber BV v Aslam (Supreme Court), R (on the application of UTAG) v TfL (High Court), British Cycling Varnish and Stojsavljevic v DPD Group UK Ltd (both EAT).
Jason brings his extensive experience to bear when asked to deal with professional discipline matters such as carrying out investigations or chairing disciplinary hearings and appeals. He is also a trained mediator and communications expert, employing a calm and measured demeanour to help facilitate settlement in even the most intractable disputes.
