President of the Labour Law section of the Madrid Bar Association.

Partner in charge of the Labour Practice at KPMG in Spain. Coordinating partner of the company-wide HR practice at KPMG in Spain. Partner in charge of the Legal area of KPMG's Sports Advisory Practice.

Specialist in labour relations and sports law, with extensive experience in negotiating and drafting contracts for senior managers and professional athletes, establishing salary scales, legal and professional-development policies in clubs and sport companies, and negotiating contracts and international transfers between agents and football players. Javier joined KPMG Abogados in 2012 as Partner. He was formerly coordinator of the Sports Group of Cuatrecasas and partner in the labour area.

He have a wealth of experience acquired in more than 25 years rendering labour law advisory services, mainly on collective bargaining, corporate restructuring transactions, design of senior management and board of director contracts and policies, remuneration policy design and labour-related legal proceedings.

Law Degree from Universidad Alcalá de Henares.

Postgraduate degree in “International Expert in Industrial Relations” and in “Labor Relations System in Italy.

Director of the KPMG-ISDE-UNIDAD online Master's Degree in Sports Law.
