Jeff Banish assists dealmakers on the executive compensation and employee benefits aspects of mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, capital formation transactions, financings, lending transactions, reductions-in-force and similar transactions. Jeff is a sought-after problem solver who creates tax-and-cost efficient solutions to the myriad of issues that arise in complex and challenging circumstances. Jeff’s practice involves all areas of employee benefits, including executive and equity-based compensation (in both corporate and pass-through entities), golden parachute issues, employee stock ownership plans, retirement, pension and welfare benefit plans, and issues of plan governance and fiduciary responsibility under ERISA.
