Called to the Bar in 2012.

Employment / Discrimination: Jen has particular expertise in the education sector acting both on behalf of unions and individual academics / teachers as well as for Higher Education providers, such as Oxford University. She also has significant experience acting as junior counsel representing workers in group gig-economy claims. Jen regularly acts as sole counsel in complex multi-day discrimination and whistleblowing litigation including in international whistleblowing cases.

Clinical negligence: Jen acts for claimants with complex claims where both liability and quantum is in issue. She has a busy practice as sole counsel and is also frequently junior to leaders in the field of high value clinical negligence litigation, in particular, wrongful birth cases.

Independent Investigations: Jen has extensive experience undertaking complex internal investigations, including in the most sensitive cases of serious sexual harassment. She has undertaken investigations in a wide range of settings including in employment, education (schools and universities) and in the context of complaints within a political party.
