Jorge is a partner and a member of the corporate/M&A, banking and finance and capital markets areas. He is an expert in domestic and international M&A, and specializes in corporate reorganizations, corporate governance, structured and acquisition finance, bond offerings, and placements.
Career
Jorge has been a member of the board of directors of several relevant corporations. Currently he sits in the board of the largest local food company, Empresas Carozzi S.A., and of Socofar S.A., owner of one of the biggest pharmaceutical in Chile. Also, he was a member of the board of directors of insurance companies and general fund managers.
In the academic field, he is Professor of the Corporate Government MBA, from Universidad de Los Andes ESE Business School and Professor of the Academic Program for Directors and Managers, at the same university. Also, he is an arbitrator of the National Arbitration Center and member of the Circle of Directors of Universidad de Los Andes ESE Business School.
