Career
Partner within the Corporate department since 2015, Laurent Cotret began his career at August Debouzy in 2006. He advises French and foreign clients on difficulties with creditors, specifically banks, and on disputes between shareholders or disputes with contractors of a nature to destabilize the company. He has developed a strong practice in restructuring and renegotiating financial debt. Laurent also advises clients on their negotiations and possible disputes with financially distressed contractors. Laurent previously worked at Natixis as a corporate finance lawyer. He teaches at the master’s degrees program of the CNAM (National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts) and at the University of Champagne.
