Luke Merrick KC practises in commercial litigation, with a particular focus on competition and consumer law, energy regulation and intellectual property.

Luke joined the Victorian Bar in 2009. He is an experienced advocate, with extensive experience in commercial and regulatory litigation. He practises primarily in the Federal Court of Australia, regularly appearing in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.

Luke has represented government and private clients in a range of complex commercial and competition proceedings (at both first instance and on appeal). He is also widely recognised for his expertise in intellectual property. Luke is the President of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand.
