Personal

Partner since 2009 and co-head of the corporate/capital markets practice group, Mikael has over 20 years’ experience from practising law and has been active in a vast range of corporate practice areas in various sectors, including in the areas of private and public M&A, within debt and equity capital markets and within finance & restructuring. Mikael regularly acts for sellers and buyers in corporate transactions, for both public and private mandates. He is often involved in large and complex IPOs. He has extensive experience advising on raising capital through shares, bond and hybrid issues, and is one of the most frequently retained advisors in the Nordics in these areas. Mikael was a pioneer within establishing the legal framework for a domestic market for high yield bonds. Mikael also has substantial experience advising private equity sponsors and companies in the finance sector. Mikael regularly acts as Chairman or Board member for a number of private and/or listed companies, as part of his role as senior advisor to clients.
