He has more than 35 years of experience in high stakes commercial litigation, concentrating in reinsurance and insurance-related issues. His has taken the lead in litigation, arbitration, and insolvency/rehabilitation proceedings involving domestic and international reinsurance disputes across all lines of business. His clients include many of the world’s major P&C and Life companies in their roles as cedents, reinsurers, and retrocessionaires. He has in-depth experience in defending insurers and reinsurers in arbitrations and state and federal district courts across the nation, including class actions, professional malpractice, E&O, breach of representation and warranty, M&A and stock and asset purchase agreements, consumer protection statutes and regulations, fidelity and surety, and life insurance and reinsurance disputes.
