Career
Patricia is a litigation lawyer. Her practice is focused on real estate litigation. She has over fourteen years of experience litigating before the Judiciary and Arbitration Tribunals. She has a high degree of specialisation in all conflicts related to real estate, advising on processes of adverse possession, property claims, recovery of land, cancellation and/or duplication of entries, declaration and/or extinction of easements, division and partition, injunctions, evictions, payment of fruits, improvements, among other matters.
She actively participates in the preventive advisory of real estate conflicts on the occasion of the regularisation of the involved titles, as well as the defence or restitution of disputed possessions. Her counsel allow her clients to avoid litigious solutions and/or to improve the client’s position within the trial.
She holds a Master’s degree in Private Law, with a specialisation in Civil Law, from the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain), having obtained the master’s degree with the thesis: “The Problem of Usucapion of Ownership Against Tabulas in Peruvian Law. A View from Spanish Legislation and Doctrine”.
She is a professor of the Property Rights course at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) and at the Universidad del Pacífico (UP).
