Pierre-Emmanuel Fender is a partner in the Paris office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, and a member of the firm’s Business Restructuring & Reorganization and Litigation practice groups.
Mr. Fender specialises in complex domestic or cross-border litigation and arbitration. With particular expertise in special situations and restructuring, he has handled a number of the most sophisticated fiducie-related disputes and transactions in recent years.
Pierre-Emmanuel co-leads the Paris office’s ESG practice, providing holistic advice to clients in relation to their corporate responsibility and ESG risks and opportunities, while also advising them on ESG litigation in France.
Career
Prior to joining Gibson Dunn in 2017, he practiced with Ashurst for fifteen years.
Personal
Graduated in 2000 from the University of Strasbourg III Robert Schumann, with a DESS (postgraduate degree) in business law and a DJCE Magistère (postgraduate degree) in Franco-German business law; and with an LLM in business law.
