Rhys Thomas has more than 20 years of experience of advising multinationals and private equity vehicles and investors in resolving complex, international disputes. He has a particular focus on disputes that involve the termination of long-term relationships, joint ventures and co-investments, as well as strategic exists, including country exits. He has in-depth experience in complex jurisdictional and choice of law disputes, having achieved success in a number of reported cases in those areas. Rhys represents clients in both litigation and arbitration proceedings.

Rhys has a particular focus on the technology sector, having served secondments at two of the world’s largest technology services companies. His practice includes advising on disputes arising from large-scale, complex technology services and partnership agreements; software development and licensing disputes; and cyber security incident response and data breach litigation.
