Practice Areas
Sara focuses her practice on investigation proceedings arising from anticompetitive behavior and other violations to the Federal Economic Competition Law, leading teams in strategies on administrative and judicial proceedings. She has participated in many landmark cases that have paved the way for how antitrust provisions are interpreted and applied in Mexico. Also, her experience in litigation provides a unique perspective in terms of preventive advise, including the implementation of commercial practices in accordance with the Law, and the development of internal compliance programs and other matters.
Career
She obtained her Law degree from the Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City, and her Master’s degree in Economics for Competition Law from King’s College London.
Professional Memberships
She is an active member of the Mexican Bar and a non-governmental advisor for the Mexican Authority at the International Competition Network. She has also been recognized for her research by the Competition Authority.
