Career

Shreya is a Partner with the TMT practice of INDUSLAW and has extensive experience in advising domestic and international clients engaged across the sector, with special focus on e-commerce, fintech, social media, AI, OTT, telecom, health-tech, agri-tech, social media, outsourcing and blockchain technology.

She advises, across the board, on market entry strategies, feasibility analyses and jurisdictional impact assessments, business and product structuring, data privacy and security governance frameworks, digital platform policies and interfaces, strategic and non-strategic stakeholder agreements, legal opinions, consumer protection, and soft intellectual property matters.

Shreya is able to provide end-to-end support to her clients on navigating the legal and regulatory framework, and risk and compliance matrices for existing and proposed product offerings. She frequently interacts with different regulators on policy issues in the e-commerce and technology sectors (including with respect to intermediaries, financial technology and data protection). She additionally provides regulatory support on obtaining licenses, authorisations and registrations in this space.

She also has substantial experience in the telecom space and regularly advises clients on structuring and compliance with respect to SMS and voice products under applicable telecommunication and data protection laws.

Her past work experience also includes being associated with practicing advocates in the High courts and the Supreme Court as well as an associateship with a magic circle law firm, Clifford Chance where she worked with clients and law firms in multiple jurisdictions including Singapore, the U.K. and the U.A.E.

Shreya has been recognized by Chambers & Partners Asia-Pacific 2024 for TMT. She has also been recognised as a ‘Rising Star’ Partner by Asialaw Rankings 2024 for Regulatory, Technology and Telecommunications. She has also been recognised by The Legal 500 as a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ for Technology, Media and Telecommunications, Financial Services Regulatory and Data Protection.
