Vivekanand has practiced in the Madras High Court, Chennai City Civil Court, statutory tribunals and arbitral tribunals and has briefed and assisted various senior counsels over his career.

Vivekanand has conducted litigations including arbitrations for multiple developers as well as non-developers both on land disputes, contractual disputes and against statutory violations. He has succeeded in obtaining a landmark ruling against the time barred demands for stamp duty and declaring the time limit for demanding any deficit stamp duty.
