Career
Tehyok Daniel Yi is a foreign attorney at Yulchon LLC in the corporate and finance practice. Mr. Yi’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance, finance, projects, insurance and mobility, and he has extensive experience in representing corporations, private equity funds and financial institutions in a broad range of cross-border transactions and matters. Prior to joining Yulchon LLC in 2008, Mr. Yi worked at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in its Tokyo office. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1999 and B.A. in economics and international area studies from University of California, Los Angeles in 1996. He is admitted to practice law in New York. He is recognized as a leading corporate and M&A lawyer by Chambers, IFLR1000 and Asialaw Profiles and as one of Korea’s Top 100 Lawyers by Asia Business Law Journal.
