Thomas is a partner in our finance group and is the firm’s Asia managing partner. He specialises in leveraged finance, project development, project finance and energy transactions throughout Asia and around the world.
In addition to advising international private capital sponsors on leveraged financing transactions, he also has a special focus on global energy and resources transactions, ranging from M&A transactions in the power sector to oil & gas project financings to the development of waste-to-energy projects in emerging markets.
Tom joined Freshfields in 2015, having previously worked at another leading international law firm in Hong Kong and Beijing.
Thomas is admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong, and England and Wales.
