• Provision of tax advice in a dispute over the validity of a VAT assessment for alleged involvement in a fraudulent company carousel.
• Provision of exclusive tax advice on acquisitions, mergers and other transformations, and divestments for a group managing one
Czech and one foreign private equity fund with a total value in excess of CZK 3 billion, plus provision of tax advice to the portfolio
companies of these funds.
• Representation in a dispute with the tax authorities concerning the correctness of the assessment of expenses for holding shares in
subsidiaries.
• Provision of tax advice on minimizing the tax burden on a technology startup in developing new software and bringing in new i

• Preparation of a forensic audit of the client’s accounting for the past three years, including quantification of damages caused by an

Vladimír Hejduk has long-term experience in the tax, accounting and corporate aspects of mergers and acquisitions, and in operations with business plants in a number of large projects in the automotive, hotel, ICT, water, waste management, energy, etc. sectors, the value of which has reached hundreds of millions to billions of crowns. Vladimír has a significant specialization in tax litigation and is dedicated to representing clients in tax proceedings (tax audits, appeals etc.), as well as in the administrative justice system. He also provides individualized discrete tax advice to high-net-worth individuals, and is an expert in trusts and trusteeships.
Other areas of law in which Vladimir is actively involved, include the legal, tax and accounting aspects of the development, provision and use of software and other intangible assets.
