Career
Hemangini Dadwal is part of the Firm’s Competition / Antitrust practice. Her near decade-long practice includes advising and representing clients on antitrust enforcement, competition investigations before the Competition Commission of India (CCI) and the Director’s General’s Office, merger control, competition litigation and advocacy efforts towards competition policy development. She regularly advises clients across various sectors including media and information technology, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, automobiles and private equity. Hemangini holds an LL.M. degree in Law, Science and Technology from the Stanford Law School.

Work Highlights
• Google on past and on–going investigations into search, search advertising, remote technology services, android, and ATV
• Uber on (i) an investigation involving allegations of abuse of dominance; and (ii) the sale of its Eats business to, and investment in, Zomato Media India
• Tata Motors before the Supreme Court of India in a constitutional challenge of the provisions of the Competition Act
• GSK (i) before the CCI and the Competition Appellate Tribunal on the participation in bids to supply meningitis vaccines to the DADG; and (ii) on securing an unconditional approval from the CCI for its proposed internal restructuring of its consumer health care business through a demerger of GSK CH HoldCo and a series of share exchanges by Pfizer and GSK/GSK affiliates for shares in Haleon
