Mr. Jae Young Chang is a partner of Shin & Kim's Merger and Acquisition practice. Mr. Chang has been advising foreign and domestic companies in a wide range of industries including automobile, finance, construction, telecommunication, distribution, game, medicine, and alternative energy and private equity funds on the issues related to friendly M&A, joint venture, venture capital, establishment of domestic subsidiary and branch, and corporate governance. He has also advised a number of clients in hostile takeover. In addition, as a member of the firm’s Anti-trust practice, Mr. Chang has represented and advised various corporate clients on the issues relating to holding companies, unfair trade practices, collusions and franchising law.

Mr. Chang holds an LL.M. degree from New York University School of Law where he focused extensively on corporate governance, M&A and anti-trust studies. Mr. Chang has also worked as a foreign lawyer at both New York and Tokyo offices of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, one of the most reputable law firms in the United States.
