Mr. Jootag Yoon is a partner at Shin & Kim whose main practice areas are patents, utility models, designs, trademarks, unfair competition, trade secrets, industrial technology protection, technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT), digital technology, data law, privacy protection, software disputes, copyrights and entertainment, product liability, and bio and healthcare. Since joining Shin & Kim, Mr. Yoon has represented clients and won in multiple cases in relation to patent infringement, trade secret infringement (in civil and criminal disputes), non-compete agreements, copyright infringement, trademark and design infringement, and product liability, in several of which he successfully obtained a remand decision from the Supreme Court. Also, he has advised his clients on various issues in his major practice areas, including Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) analysis.
