Career
Mr. Frazier represents management in the area of labor and employment law with an emphasis on employment litigation including collective actions under the FLSA and the ADEA. Mr. Frazier has been counsel in over 20 jury trials in both state and federal courts, and he has experience trying collective actions in federal court before a jury and in an arbitration setting. Mr. Frazier has also handled over 40 arbitrations arising under collective bargaining agreements.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Frazier has had the opportunity to assist with the Management of Ogletree Deakins. From 2000 until January of 2005, Mr. Frazier served as the Managing Shareholder of the Nashville office. Mr. Frazier was also the Acting Managing Shareholder for our Los Angeles office from September 2010 until January 2011. In January 2005, Mr. Frazier was elected to the Firm’s Board of Directors and he served in that capacity until January 2011. Mr. Frazier subsequently was elected to a third three-year term on the Firm’s Board of Directors running from January 2014 until January 2017. Currently, Mr. Frazier is working with our offices in Europe to develop a greater exchange of business between those offices and our offices in North America.
Mr. Frazier is active in civic and professional activities. Mr. Frazier served in the past as President of the Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Division and as a member of the Tennessee Bar Association Board of Governors; Mr. Frazier is also active in the ABA’s Labor and Employment Section where he currently serves as a Section Delegate to the ABA House of Delegates. On the civic front, Mr. Frazier has served as Vice Chair of Existing Business/Workforce Development for the Nashville Chamber of Commerce. In that capacity Mr. Frazier served on the Chamber’s Board of Governors and Executive Committee. Mr. Frazier serves in a volunteer capacity as labor counsel for several nonprofit entities within Tennessee.
