Tobias is the Managing Shareholder of Ogletree Deakins’ Chicago office and co-chair of its Unfair Competition and Trade Secrets Practice Group. He is also a member of Ogletree Deakins’ Client Services Steering Committee and a former member of the firm’s Professional Development Steering Committee, which is responsible for creating and implementing the firm’s professional development programs and initiatives. Tobias is a strategic advocate and litigator for businesses in employment (including discrimination, retaliation, wage & hour, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), etc.) and unfair competition matters (including restrictive covenants (noncompete, nonsolicit and confidentiality), trade secrets, duties of loyalty, tortious interference, and conspiracy, etc.).
