Millie is an experienced barrister in property and employment law.
Her property practice spans a broad range including landlord and tenant, leasehold disputes, complex possessions including sub-letting and succession, as well as homelessness. She is particularly sought out for public law cases raising equality, human rights or EU law issues.
She has been instructed in a number of important cases including

In her employment law practice she has experience of multi-day trials across the range of employment law issues including discrimination, unfair dismissal, redundancy and restrictive covenants.
In 2019 Millie was appointed to the Equality and Human Rights Commission’s panel of counsel.
Prior to coming to the Bar Millie worked as a referendaire to Advocate General Jaaskinen in the Court of Justice of the European Union. She also has extensive appellate experience as a result of being a judicial assistant to Lord Justice Richards in the Court of Appeal.
