Kim represents clients in all phases of mega-infrastructure projects in the US and around the world. His detailed knowledge of the construction process, wide experience with all types of contracts and project delivery systems, and extensive experience in litigation and arbitration enable him to represent clients successfully and efficiently in all phases of construction projects.
In today’s construction sector, clients must deal with new project delivery methods, emerging technologies, emerging technical and contractual issues, and cultural differences that can pose challenges both within and between teams.
Kim founded the Construction practice group at Seyfarth more than 30 years ago, and he managed the group for more than 20 years. He has been practicing construction law for more than 40 years, drafting and negotiating contracts, administering contracts, solving problems, and litigating, arbitrating, and mediating disputes. He has carried out these services as an advocate, as well as an arbitrator, mediator, and member of dispute review and adjudication boards. In providing these services, he has been successful in providing the best and most efficient solutions for his clients.
As a result of his extensive experience, clients seek Kim’s representation on projects that are financially important and often highly visible within the industry. His clients benefit from his ability to leverage Seyfarth’s significant resources and experience with complex mega-projects.
