She advises domestic / multinational clients on investments in listed and unlisted entities across different sectors in India, with a special focus on Media, Entertainment & Sports, Banking & Financial Services and E–Commerce & Retail.

Work Highlights

• Citibank N.A. on the sale of its consumer banking business in India to Axis Bank.

• Bodhi Tree Systems on the USD 2bn investment by Bodhi Tree Systems and the Reliance Group into Viacom18 and the merger of Jio Cinemas with Viacom 18.

• CPPIB on its investments into ReNew and the US listing of ReNew via a SPAC combination.

• Silver Lake Partners on its investments in Byju’s.

• TPG on several of its investments in India including Dream11, Five Star Business Finance, Xpressbees, and the buy–out and subsequent sale of Vishal Mega Mart.

• KKR on its (i) several investments in India including Lenskart and Livspace. (ii) establishment of its debt platform in India and all fund–raising activities for the platform, and merger of its corporate non-banking finance business with Incred Financial Services Limited.
