Shan is a senior US associate in Linklaters’ capital markets team who specialises in high-yield transactions in the Greater China region and across Asia.

Shan has extensive experience of advising major financial institutions and issuer clients on debt capital market transactions, covering a wide range of credit profiles from sovereign issuance to high yield debt issues and liability management transactions. Shan also advises clients in respect of U.S. securities laws in various debt and equity capital markets transactions.

In particular, Shan is highly regarded for his expertise in high yield bond products. Shan is trusted by corporate clients as well as major investment banks in the high yield space for his knowledge of high yield bond products and his commercial awareness, which enables him to provide innovative and bespoke solutions to highly complex high yield transactions of issuers from various industries.

Shan has a well-established track record of advising and has developed long-standing relationships with high-profile clients in the high yield bond practice. He has taken an active role in over 80% of the transactions Linklaters has completed in the China high yield market.
