Simon is a specialist inquest practitioner with a particular expertise in representing healthcare organisations and professionals in proceedings throughout the jurisdiction.
He is particularly sought after to represent the interests of providers of healthcare services within the Secure Estate and also the Ministry of Justice, by virtue of his appointment to the Attorney General’s Regional Panel of Civil Counsel, in lengthy and often complex death in custody inquests which engage Article 2 ECHR and are heard by a Coroner sitting with a jury.
Simon’s healthcare experience both as a solicitor and at the Bar has involved the representation of providers and professionals of all disciplines and specialities.
