Experience

Fang Yan is the Managing Partner of JT&N’s Xian office. Ms. Fang has an active practice in the fields of foreign investment, domestic investment, overseas financing and joint ventures. Ms. Fang is an expert in corporate law, mergers and restructuring, investment and financing, and domestic and offshore listing, as well as on the rules and regulations of the major security markets in China and abroad. She has substantial experience advising clients on foreign investment in China, including structuring strategic approaches to investment and financing, as well as overseeing implementation. Ms. Fang has a strong relationship with many major PRC financing agencies and maintains effective communication with governmental departments.

Ms. Fang also represents clients in litigation and arbitration proceedings involving foreign interests, particularly in connection with offshore investment and corporate listings.

In the real estate field, Ms. Fang acts as legal counsel to many real estate companies in a wide variety of transactions. She has participated directly in all phases of many development projects, including real estate company establishment, feasibility study and analysis of real estate projects, grant and transfer of land-use rights, joint project development, relocation and resettlement, project construction, real estate sale and lease, mortgage financing, bank mortgage, property management, real estate dispute resolution, enterprise take-over for the purpose of project development and capital operations such as M&A and restructuring.
