Overview How are ranking decisions made? How many cases can each barrister put forward in a submission? How many referees can each barrister put forward? Do the referees need to be connected to the cases put forward in the submission? Where can I find the submission template and the referee spreadsheet template? Does a barrister need to be of a certain year of call before they can be considered for inclusion? What does the Senior Statesperson ranking mean?
Do the referees need to be connected to the cases put forward in the submission?
No.
It is not necessary for the referees to have worked on the cases included in
the submission. When speaking with the referees, the researcher will ask them
to briefly describe the case or cases they have been working on with each
barrister they are providing feedback on.
