Joseph is the Co-head of the M&A Practice at Kaplan & Stratton, Advocates which has been praised for solving complex competition issues by the Competition Authority of Kenya, the COMESA Competition Commission as well as international clients and magic circle international law firms. Joseph is a qualified Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and Certified Public Secretary.

Joseph presently specializes in mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments and exits, competition/antitrust law, capital markets law, telecommunications law, energy law, and carrying out legal due diligence exercises of businesses in various sectors in Kenya.

Joseph has been recognized for his exemplary knowledge in commercial law. In particular, Joseph recently acted for the acquirer in a landmark transaction that received the IFLR Africa M&A 2020 Deal of the year award.
