Career
Sam qualified as a Kenyan Advocate. After admission as an advocate, he joined Kaplan & Stratton in 1978 and became a partner in 1983. His main areas of practice are general business, commercial and employment law including share sales, share incentive plans for employees, acquisition of private companies and businesses, advice and preparation of documentation on joint ventures and shareholders’ agreements. He also advises on intellectual property, including patents and designs, copyrights, trademarks, service marks, commercial names, international licensing and franchising and on pension law and practice in Kenya.
