Charlotte is a partner in Dentons Kensington Swan's employment team. With her extensive experience in complex employment issues she advises on all areas of employment law including employment structures, jurisdictional issues arising from cross-border transactions, employment agreements and employee incentive schemes. She also has experience in guiding international companies on adopting structures to limit or manage the application of New Zealand employment law.
Charlotte assists a wide range of international companies, New Zealand corporates, SMEs and other organisations on day-to-day issues that arise with their employees, including personal grievances, restraints of trade and restructures. She has robust experience in assisting clients with compliance to the Holidays Act and any issues that arise under the Human Rights Act.
As an accomplished litigator, Charlotte has appeared as Counsel in the regulatory, criminal and employment jurisdictions. Dispute resolution procedures in the workplace is another area of focus as she provides solution-focused, pragmatic, and responsive advice to her clients.
Currently, the Chair of the Board of Auckland Chamber of Commerce, Charlotte possesses an edge and valuable insight into the Auckland environment, as well as access to a network of key stakeholders and decision-makers in the business sector.
