Liz leads the transactional banking and finance team within our nation-wide Banking and Financial Markets group.
Liz has more than 20 years’ New Zealand and international experience acting for the full spectrum of borrowers, lenders, originators and trustees. Her clients include banks, finance companies, private investment firms, SMEs and listed companies.
Liz has particular expertise in asset-backed finance, receivables finance, acquisition finance, equipment finance, property and construction finance, and securitisations.
Liz also has extensive experience working with local and overseas banks on all aspects of their regulatory and transactional needs.
Liz helps her clients achieve the outcomes they want by providing excellent service while being accessible, reliable and easy for clients to deal with. She is known for providing effective simple solutions to client’ legal issues.
Liz joined Dentons in 2020 from Tompkins Wake where she was previously a partner. Prior to that, Liz spent her legal career at Bell Gully (Auckland) and Allen & Overy (London).
