James Bucking, Partner and Chair of Foley Hoag’s Labor and Employment Department, represents corporations and other employers in union disputes, non-compete litigation, wage/hour cases, class actions, and other complex employment litigation. Mr. Bucking represents management at the bargaining table in union negotiations, and litigates labor disputes in court, before arbitrators, and at the National Labor Relations Board. He regularly defends clients in actions initiated by the US Department of Labor, state Attorneys General, and other labor agencies, and is a respected advisor on labor and employment laws and regulations.
