Jeffrey Quillen is a partner and Co-Chair of our Life Sciences Practice Group. He serves as outside general counsel to scores of emerging and established biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device companies. Many of his clients have been spun out of leading universities and hospitals, including MIT, Harvard, Mass General Brigham, City of Hope, Ohio State University and the University of Washington.

Jeff represents companies and investors in financing matters, often involving private placements of preferred stock, convertible notes or SAFEs. He represents buyers (including PE funds) and sellers in mergers and acquisitions. He also negotiates complex collaboration and licensing transactions including transactions with leading universities and global pharmaceutical companies.

In addition to his recognition in Chambers, Jeff was recognized in Best Lawyers for his work in Venture Capital Law. He is frequently called upon as a national thought leader to speak to journalists and participate on panels.
